The father of Huang Junying, a young Taiwanese "post-80s" generation, is an old Taiwan businessman who crossed the strait and took root in the Yangtze River Delta to start a business in the early years with the boom of Taiwan businessmen investing in the mainland. Due to the need for the family's real estate business, in 2012, Huang Junying quit her job as a Chinese teacher in the mountains of Chiang Mai, Thailand, and came to Nanjing to "run the family business" with her father.

Recently, when the reporter of the China News Agency met the "second generation of Taiwan" Huang Junying in Jiangning, Nanjing, she was busy introducing the tricks of garbage classification and waste reuse to customers. Seemingly ordinary sportswear is actually made of waste such as old plastic bottles.

This dress, you look at this hangtag, if there is such a hangtag, then it is made of something recyclable. Many people will think, will clothes made from recycled plastic bottles feel bad? Uncomfortable to wear? No, that's why we're showing this here.

Usually the plastic bottles we recycle will be washed and turned into pieces, and then there will be this pellet, made into pellets, finally turned into silk, and finally rolled into this, that, and finally can be made into the clothes we see now.

In the early years, Huang Junying's father came to Nanjing to establish a real estate company, and now, after Huang Junying took over, she turned her attention to environmental protection and public welfare.

We developed this property, and now I set it aside to promote this philosophy of living, love the earth, love the environment, love yourself. Because we are currently in the last phase of development, after this phase, we will basically be a social enterprise. As the name implies, most of my company's profits, deducting personnel costs, etc., most of my profits are invested in social welfare. There are mainly two pieces of social welfare, one is to do environmental protection, the promotion of garbage classification, and the other is to do the visit and care of low-income households, uninsured households, and grateful households.

【Commentary】In her spare time from life in Nanjing, Huang Junying often meets with three or five friends, climbs mountains to pick up garbage, and visits and cares for people in difficulty.

Now we have a project with Xishan Bridge (street), which is mainly to accompany single-parent, intergenerational children. At present, it is expected to be twice a month, about two or three hours to spend with the children.

Huang Junying also built a farm in Hengxi, Jiangning, to provide a rest place for friends from the mainland and Taiwan to get close to nature. She also actively plans parent-child activities here and acts as a "bridge" for cross-strait communication and exchanges.

We can see egrets, hedgehogs, hares in that park, and when spring comes, there are many wild fruits, and we all tell the children, you go "treasure hunting". At that time, we did two "treasure hunts", one was to pick up garbage, and picking up garbage was also to help clean up the land, and the other was "treasure hunting", looking for treasures of wild fruits that could be eaten.

【Commentary】Having lived in Nanjing for more than ten years, Huang Qiangying has witnessed the rapid development of Nanjing. She said that Nanjing is like her second home, with a deep cultural heritage and a harmonious and friendly cultural environment.

I actually like Nanjing very much, because I am a city (people) who like history, (Nanjing) some famous attractions, many are very friendly to Taiwan compatriots, Niushou Mountain, Dabaoen Temple, take Taiwan compatriot certificate (Taiwan resident residence permit) is free, many of my Taiwanese friends come, I take them there. I often tell people that Nanjing is actually like home to me, in fact, every time I go to Lukou Airport or Nanjing South Railway Station (returning from a business trip), I feel that I am home, and living here for ten years is actually emotional.

Looking back on her time in Nanjing, Huang Junying said that she is grateful for this experience and allowed her to grow. She also suggested that Taiwanese youth, if they have the opportunity, can go out and see more, and feel different scenery and life.
