Xi Jinping talked about the ecological environment management in recent years, and also talked about another personal experience.
He said that when he was a child, there were often sandstorms in Beijing.
"Wearing a mask in spring, you pick off a layer of dust. When you go out for a day, there is a layer of soil on the ground at home. At that time, it was not PM2.5, but PM250!" These words caused laughter in the audience.
In the laughter, there is a common feeling shared by everyone.
From enduring "PM250" to preventing and controlling "PM2.5", today China's ecological and environmental protection work is moving from treating "smog" and "black odor" to treating new pollutants.
"People who have no long-term concerns must have immediate worries. Environmental protection has a long way to go, and we must continue to do a good job." Xi Jinping said.
He emphasized that we must use reform ideas, technological power, transformation methods, and market means to systematically promote ecological protection and restoration and solve outstanding problems in the ecological environment.
"We should take a broad view of the situation. Don't just criticize and point fingers, but take real action and solve one point at a time." Xi Jinping said.
