"As a result of an airstrike, the enemy suffered losses": the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation told about the destruction of command and observation posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine

The head of the press center of the group of troops "Center" Alexander Savchuk said that Russian aviation hit the command and observation posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Chervonodibrovsk section.

"The movement of personnel of the 15th regiment of the National Guard of Ukraine, as well as the command and observation posts of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was revealed. As a result of the air strike of the operational-tactical and army aviation of the Russian grouping, the enemy suffered losses in manpower and equipment," he said.

In addition, according to Savchuk, in the Krasnolimansky direction, during the military reconnaissance of the ZALA and Orlan-30 drone crews, concentrations of enemy equipment and manpower were revealed. As a result, all targets were destroyed. Along with this, air defense calculations detected and hit drones of the Armed Forces of the Furia type.

In turn, the head of the press center of the Vostok grouping, Alexander Gordeev, said that in the South-Donetsk direction, the enemy's attempt to conduct reconnaissance by combat at the forward positions of the Russian military grouping was stopped. According to him, a sniper pair of a Russian special forces unit destroyed a reconnaissance group of nationalists.

Kiev is preparing a provocation against the Russian Armed Forces

Earlier, the interdepartmental coordination headquarters of Russia for humanitarian response in Ukraine announced that Kiev was preparing a provocation in the Sumy region. As stated in the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the Ukrainian authorities intend to simulate the use of artillery ammunition with toxic substances by the Russian military.

According to the Defense Ministry, over the past two weeks, in the village of Okhtyrka, Sumy region, a section of the "forward line of defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the line of combat contact with Russian troops" has allegedly been prepared.

"It is planned to deliver from morgues to the equipped pseudo-positions the bodies and remains of the dead Ukrainian servicemen, whose death allegedly occurred as a result of a fire defeat by "Russian" artillery ammunition filled with "toxic substances," the Russian Defense Ministry said.

As stated in the defense Ministry, Kiev intends to treat this area and the remains of Ukrainian servicemen with a toxic substance. This, in turn, will allow Western experts to document the alleged "use of "chemical weapons" by the Russian armed forces.

In addition, in order to make the provocation more believable, the Russian Defense Ministry noted, the Ukrainian special services were instructed to prepare and publish in social networks fake radio intercepts of the alleged discussion by Russian servicemen of preparations for the use of "chemical weapons".

According to the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, this provocation will allow to deploy another media campaign in the Western media to discredit the Russian troops.

Shelling of the DPR

Over the past day, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shelled the territory of the DPR 18 times, the republic's representative office in the Joint Center for Control and Coordination of Issues Related to War Crimes of Ukraine (JCCC) said in a statement.

Donetsk, Gorlovka, Yakovlevka, Yasynuvataya and other settlements of the republic were under fire. The enemy used multiple launch rocket systems and 155 mm artillery during the shelling.

According to the representative office of the DPR in the JCCC, over the past day, one civilian was killed, 18 were injured. Among them is a girl born in 2009.

At the same time, nine residential buildings and four infrastructure facilities were damaged.
