The bribe-taker, together with his deputy Albina Poroshina, received more than 2.6 million rubles from the director of the construction organization for assistance, in particular, with obtaining contracts for the improvement of public areas in the city, accepting the work and their timely payment.
The former head of the Novocherkassk administration was detained on October 16, 2019 on suspicion of receiving a bribe in a particularly large amount.
