Putin's Senior Officials Oppose ICC

A high-ranking official of the Putin administration, who was issued an arrest warrant by the ICC = International Criminal Court in March on suspicion of war crimes along with President Putin for transferring children from the occupied territory of Ukraine to the Russian side, held a press conference in the capital Moscow on the 3th and rebelled against the ICC side.

The press conference was held by President Levoiberova, who is in charge of children's rights and other issues in the Putin administration.

In it, Levovaberova stressed that Russia does not recognize the jurisdiction of the International Criminal Court and argued that it is only protecting children in the conflict zone and not illegally abducting them against their or their parents' will.

"If you show the facts, you will deal with it, and everything looks like a farce. It is unspecific and incomprehensible. If there is information that children are being separated from their parents, we need at least a list of such children," he stressed, expressing his disdain for the issuance of an arrest warrant.

On the other hand, when asked if he feared traveling to a foreign country where he could be arrested, he said, "I have a lot of work to do here," and declined to mention specifics.
