Since 2020, Vattenfall has been granted permission to construct and operate 21 wind turbines in Bruzaholm. The construction has been planned for a long time, but final negotiations are now underway with various subcontractors and it is expected to be up and running by the summer. The wind farm will be operational until 2025 and will be able to supply more than 90,000 households with electricity.

"Wind turbines provide more electricity now than just five years ago due to technological developments. The higher they are, the more electricity we get," says Nils Lagerkvist.

Bruzaholm's wind farm will have an output of approximately 140 MW and an annual production of 460 GWh. The total area amounts to approximately 13 km².
