"There is an administrative investigation underway," led by the IGPN, the police force, said Nuñez.

"There will probably be a judicial investigation that will be opened," he added, recalling that he had taken legal action after the sequence.

Friday night, on the set of "Touche pas à mon poste", three hooded men and a woman, hooded, a black hood on their heads and the modified voice, an orange armband marked police on their arms, presented themselves for some as members of the BRAV-M, the Brigade for the repression of violent actions motorized. This unit of police on motorcycles has been under fire for several days, accused of violence against demonstrators against the pension reform.

As "prefect of police, when I see this sequence, I consider that it discredits the BRAV-M, which I lead," said Laurent Nuñez, who was present on the set on the proposal of Interior Minister Gerald Darmanin.

"When an official who has been dismissed speaks on behalf of Brav-M, for me it is a problem," added the prefect Nuñez, also denouncing the "non-respect of the duty of reserve" of other officials.

On Friday evening, he had announced the opening of an administrative investigation by ensuring that "the first elements in possession" of the police prefecture suggested "to think that these people do not belong to the BRAV-M".

According to sources consistent with AFP, none is a member of the BRAV-M. A man named Cedric, who presented himself as the spokesman, was dismissed from the national police in December 2022.
