A young content creator posted a video on his Instagram account showing the atmosphere in the Egyptian capital, Cairo, ahead of Iftar on the first day of the holy month of Ramadan.

In the video, which documented an exceptional scene of the center of the capital, Ahmed El-Badawi said: "Come with me to see Cairo empty during Iftar time."

The aerial footage published by the young man on Sunday showed some of the main areas and squares in Cairo from above, including Tahrir Square, Qasr al-Nil Bridge, Cairo Tower and other distinctive landmarks of the Egyptian capital.

Most of the streets filmed from above are usually crowded with crowded cars and citizens, but in the video they appear almost empty of pedestrians and absent the scenes of congestion that usually characterize them.

With the vision of the month of Ramadan, the Egyptian street is beautiful, and people live in a distinctive festive atmosphere, so their movement is active in the markets for the purpose of buying customary Ramadan supplies, and the streets are decorated with colorful papers and lanterns that children usually carry chanting folkloric songs.
