The national patient survey, which is carried out by Sweden's Municipalities and Regions, gives a high rating to the emergency departments in Kalmar County.

The combined result is the highest of all regions in Sweden.

The emergency department in Västervik receives the highest score in the Kalmar Region.

- We have had a rather tough workload some time ago, so you still get such satisfied patients.

It's fantastic, says operations manager Martina Sinai.

The survey is based on several dimensions, where the patients were asked to like, including efficiency and care.

When it comes to overall impressions, the average in the region is 88 points on the survey's 100-point scale.

To compare with the national average of 81.

Västervik's emergency department scores over 90 in the same measurement.

- You become proud, it's great fun.

But we obviously want to be even better, says Frida Eddyson Hägg, specialist doctor.
