According to him, the residents of the city have pro-Russian sentiments, cooperate with Russia.
He added that he tried to convince the townspeople, but they did not listen to him.
Earlier, retired LPR Lieutenant Colonel Andrei Marochko said that Ukrainian troops continue to build up a grouping in the northwest and southwest of Artyomovsk of the Donetsk People's Republic.
