Hersh says the US and Norway have been conducting joint operations since the Vietnam War.

"The Norwegian Navy has a long and hazy history of cooperation with American intelligence," RIA Novosti quoted him as saying.

According to Hersh, back in 1964, Norwegian sailors admitted to a joint operation with the CIA off the coast of Vietnam.

Earlier, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that the reputation of the American journalist Seymour Hersh does not allow doubting the reliability of his investigation into the incidents at Nord Stream.

On February 18, Russia submitted a UN Security Council resolution to investigate sabotage at Nord Stream.

It also became known that Russia will call on the UN Security Council to create a commission to investigate the emergency on gas pipelines.
