Today, the Pettersson family mainly sells games and sweets, but previously the store was also a deli.

- In 2009, there was a demand for renewable fuel, and it became too expensive to rebuild.

Then we stopped, and now Dingtuna doesn't have a petrol station, says Thomas Pettersson.

Customers disappeared

Stopping petrol led to the disappearance of a lot of customers, says Thomas, and the recent increase in the price of electricity looks to be the death knell for the family business, as VLT was the first to report.

- The electricity bill has become 600 percent more expensive, and with the little profit we make, it will not add up.
