“One of the criteria for the supply of weapons is that they should not lead to an escalation of the conflict.

That is, the weapons we supply should not strike Russian territory,” Macron said at a joint press conference with Dutch Prime Minister Mark Rutte in The Hague.

The newspaper Le Monde, citing a source in military circles, said that France had too few Leclerc tanks available to transfer them to Ukraine, in addition, this equipment was difficult to maintain.

According to the publication, France can supply Ukraine with only 10-20 of these tanks.
