It is noted that 57 out of 62 senators who were present at the meeting supported the extension of visas.

“These visas give refugees the right to social and medical insurance, study at local universities and work at firms and enterprises in the Czech Republic,” RIA Novosti reported.

Earlier it became known that since the start of the special military operation, more than 7.89 million Ukrainian refugees have arrived in Europe.

Most of the refugees, according to the UN, were accepted by Russia, Poland, Germany, the Czech Republic and Italy.
