About 50 people suffered a cardiac arrest in the Itaewon district of Seoul during the Halloween celebrations in the city, a dozen of them were taken care of by South Korean firefighters.

140 ambulances were deployed to treat the victims.

Dozens of people were treated with cardiac arrest in Seoul, South Korea on Saturday during Halloween celebrations, South Korean firefighters said.

A fire department spokesman confirmed the incident, saying 140 ambulances had been dispatched to the scene to attend to the victims.

About 50 people suffered a cardiac arrest in the Itaewon district, where thousands of people were celebrating Halloween, according to the Yonhap agency.
