UK: Boris Johnson withdraws from Downing Street race

As his name circulated to take over from Prime Minister Liz Truss, Boris Johnson withdrew from the race for 10 Downing Street. The former mayor of London, who also served as Prime Minister, met his former finance minister, Rishi Sunak, on Saturday, the first candidate to have filed his 100 sponsorships.
