The Ambassador of Ukraine to Ireland called the lack of housing for Ukrainian refugees unacceptable

In an interview with RTÉ radio, she mentioned the situation with 43 IDPs who could not be provided with housing from the state.

According to local authorities, only men were left homeless.

Gerasko expressed her hope that the Irish authorities would find a way out of the situation and asked the government to "announce the lack of housing in advance" so that in this case the refugees could choose another country.

Earlier, the Financial Times, citing European officials, reported that the EU was preparing for another wave of Ukrainian refugees.

At the same time, last week, according to Der Standard, protests began in Austria against the installation of tents for refugees from Ukraine.

Prior to this, a demonstration against Ukrainian refugees arriving in the city and supporters of the escalation of relations with Russia took place in Leipzig.
