Regarding the issue of the former Unification Church, the Liberal Democratic Party is reviewing its guidelines for organizational governance, saying, "We will strictly refrain from actions that may be misunderstood as promoting the activities of organizations and groups whose activities are concerned about their social relevance." I have put together a proposal to incorporate the wording.

Regarding the relationship with the former Unification Church, the Liberal Democratic Party decided on a new policy in August this year, such as not having any relationship, including related organizations, and reviewed the guidelines for organizational governance and the "Governance Code". I'm working on it, and I've put together a revised proposal.

In the revised proposal, a new item, “Ensuring responsible relationships with organizations and groups,” was added, and “Actions that could be misunderstood as promoting the activities of organizations and groups whose activities are of concern to the social relevance are strictly prohibited. “Be careful.”

It also incorporates the establishment of a system to respond to inquiries from lawmakers regarding these organizations and groups.

The LDP will discuss these revisions at the meeting of the Party Reform Implementation Headquarters to be held on the 21st, and if they are decided, they will inform local organizations and request thorough implementation of the guidelines.
