Prime Minister Kishida met with members of the Liberal Democratic Party's executive committee, including Vice President Aso and Secretary-General Motegi, and confirmed the progress of the hearings being held regarding the issue surrounding the faction's political funding party. We discussed future measures.

On the morning of the 8th, Prime Minister Kishida held a roughly 50-minute meeting with seven members of the party's executive committee, including Vice President Aso, Secretary-General Motegi, and Chairman of the Board Moriyama at the Liberal Democratic Party headquarters.

Among these, Mr. Motegi established three working teams under the party's ``Political Reform Headquarters'', including a team to consider legal development, including the revision of the Political Funds Control Act, in response to issues surrounding factional political funding parties. We have announced that it has been launched.

Additionally, Mr. Moriyama reported on the progress of interviews with relevant members of the Abe and Nikai factions, and discussed future responses.

Meanwhile, according to attendees, Prime Minister Kishida announced the party's rules to sever ties with the former Unification Church regarding Minister of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology Moriyama, who was reported to have received election support from the former Unification Church in the last House of Representatives election. This means that they have indicated that they will respond accordingly.

We also agreed to hold weekly meetings with Prime Minister Kishida and seven party executives.
