More than 90 engineering consultancy and contracting companies participating in the “Decobuild 2022” exhibition of decoration, design and building materials, organized by the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, for the sixth year in a row, offered discounts to citizens ranging between 30 and 50% on their services with free raffles, during the days of the exhibition. Which will conclude next Sunday.

The exhibition was inaugurated yesterday by the Director General of Dubai Municipality, Eng. Daoud Abdul Rahman Al-Hajri, and the Executive Director of the Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment, Omar Hamad Bushhab, in the presence of the Director of the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, Eng. Muhammad Al-Mansoori.

More than 90 entities from the government and private sectors will participate in the event, which brings together many institutions and government agencies concerned with housing, in addition to a wide participation of companies working in the field of building materials, contracting, decoration, engineering consultancy, interior and architectural design, banks, financing institutions and a selection of the most important furniture, elevators and lighting companies. And smart home services, which offer the latest global and local products in these important sectors.

The exhibition is sponsored by a group of government agencies and agencies, namely the Ministry of Energy and Infrastructure, the Sheikh Zayed Housing Program, the Dubai Municipality, the Sharjah Housing Program, the Society of Engineers in the Emirates, and media sponsorship from Dubai Media Corporation and Abu Dhabi Media Company, and with the support of Dubai Chambers, in addition to the exhibition's strategic partners, namely Blanco Interior Design and Bold Luxury Furniture Manufacturing.

The Mohammed bin Rashid Housing Establishment confirmed that the organization of the "Decobuild" exhibition comes within the framework of achieving its mission and strategic objectives of delighting citizens and improving the quality of their lives by implementing innovative and diverse housing solutions, in order to achieve a balance between high quality and sustainability in order to translate the vision and directives of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, who recently approved a historic housing budget of 65 billion dirhams for the next 20 years for citizens in the Emirate of Dubai, in light of efforts to complete the development and urban model of the Emirate of Dubai, in a way that enhances a decent life for citizens and consolidates Dubai's position to be The best city for life in the world.

The director of Arkan Consulting Engineering, Wissam Abdel Halim, said that the company offers several facilities for citizens wishing to build their homes, during the days of the exhibition, including a daily drawing on an engineering design provided free of charge to the winning citizen, in addition to a discount on engineering designs and architectural supervision during the construction of the housing, up to 50% of the value of designs and supervision, and 50% of the interior design. The company also offers ready-made villa designs whose construction cost starts from 800,000 dirhams.

The director of the Prince Company for Engineering Consultations, Muhammad Taha Abu Aoun, stated that the company offers citizens discounts on the occasion of the exhibition by 50% on all services, including design and engineering supervision of implementation, noting that the construction market is currently witnessing a rise in demand compared to last year, despite The increase in the prices of building materials by up to 10%.

For his part, the Director-General of the Sunset Office for Engineering Consultations, Eng. Abdullah Al-Nimr, said that the office presents an offer to citizens during the days of the exhibition, which is to obtain a design of two houses from the office with a 25% discount on both designs together.

He stated that the construction sector activity is witnessing a better improvement than previous years, during the "Covid-19" pandemic, especially with the new housing projects being proposed by the authorities responsible for housing in the country.
