“Due to many obstacles in the banking sector, in the field of insurance and delivery, millions of tons of Russian fertilizers got stuck in ports in Europe and were not delivered on time,” Dai Bing, Chinese Deputy Representative to the UN, quoted RIA Novosti as saying.

He called for the removal of all obstacles.

The representative of Mexico also noted the importance of delivering Russian fertilizers and food products to global markets.

“Fertilizers play a crucial role in ensuring future crops, and Russian fertilizers must reach global markets,” said Lana Zaki Nusseiba, Permanent Representative of the UAE to the UN, in turn.

Earlier, Russian Permanent Representative to the UN Vasily Nebenzya said that Western anti-Russian sanctions prevent Russia from safely transferring its contributions to the UN World Food Program (WFP).
