This statement was made by Deputy Permanent Representative of Russia to the UN Maria Zabolotskaya.

According to her, representatives of the collective West usually use the term “collateral damage” in order to “camouflage” the numerous casualties among civilians during indiscriminate bombing of cities and supposedly targeted strikes against terrorists.

This, as Zabolotskaya noted, contrasts sharply with the “sudden concern” of representatives of the collective West about human rights.

Earlier it became known that Russia will convene a UN Security Council meeting on combating terrorism on February 20.

Also, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, Maria Zakharova, said that Moscow would bring the Ukrainian Armed Forces’ attack on Belgorod to the UN Security Council for discussion.
