On the 15th local time, the two-day G7 trade ministers meeting ended in Neuhardenberg, Brandenburg, Germany.

The meeting plans to set up a larger Ukraine recovery fund, and at the same time hopes to promote the development of future international trade relations in a broader and more sustainable direction.

German Federal Deputy Chancellor and Economy Minister Habeck said on the same day that the impact of the Russian-Ukrainian conflict shows that dependence on a single country is a threat to national prosperity and world trade.

Harbeck revealed that the G7 is currently planning to set up a larger recovery fund for Ukraine, and the finance ministers and central banks will discuss the details of the establishment of the fund.

Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Sveridenko, who attended the meeting as a guest, said that the funding needs for Ukraine's reconstruction are about 350 billion euros.

The G7 said in a communiqué that trade could be an important driver of Ukraine's economic recovery.

In addition, the G7 also called for a resolution of internal disputes at the WTO by 2024 in a communiqué.

The communique said the WTO tribunal must be open to all WTO members in 2024 and ensure greater transparency.

Previously, the German business community had criticized the United States' attitude towards the WTO.

Experts believe the World Trade Organization is in the midst of its worst crisis since its creation in 1995.

Global tensions and broader protectionism are putting increasing pressure on world trade.

Under the influence of former US President Trump, the appointment of new judges to the WTO arbitration tribunal has been controversial, so the arbitration panel has been unable to take effective action for many years.
