A spokesman for Ukrainian President Zelensky said on his Facebook page on the 15th that the car in which President Zelensky was riding collided with a security vehicle in the capital Kyiv.
President Zelensky said he received medical attention but was not seriously injured.
The specific circumstances of the accident have not been disclosed.
President Zelensky is believed to have been in an accident on his return to Kyiv after visiting Izyum, an important city in eastern Kharkiv province, on the 14th.
