He noted that he hopes to start the first stage of vaccination in October.
The head of the World Health Organization, Tedros Ghebreyesus, said earlier that the WHO does not yet have data on the effectiveness of existing monkeypox vaccines.
Ghebreyesus also said that WHO does not yet recommend mass vaccination.
