Toni Cantó's career as director of the Community of Madrid Spanish Office, created expressly for him by Isabel Díaz Ayuso, has lasted barely a year.
The actor and former member of Ciudadanos arrived at the position in June 2021 and today announced to the regional president that he had decided to leave that position
"I have informed the President Isabel Díaz Ayuso of my intention to start a new professional project shortly. I want to thank her and her entire team for allowing me to be part of her government. It has been an unforgettable experience that I will remember with pride", affirmed the until today Director of the Office through his Twitter account.
Without further explanation about whether that project is in the political field or in the interpretive one.
