If freight train transport between the two countries resumes, it will be the first time in about two and a half years.



As for North Korea, there is no prospect of resuming the operation of freight trains with China, which has a "zero corona" policy to thoroughly suppress the spread of infection, and the domestic economy is being hit. It seems like a good idea.



Regarding relations between Russia and North Korea, a senior US government official said on the 6th of this month that Russia is purchasing millions of rockets and artillery shells from North Korea for use in Ukraine. On the 7th, a high-ranking Russian Foreign Ministry official said that he was ready to resume supplying oil and petroleum products to North Korea.
