On the 2nd, the South Korean government announced its own sanctions against Russia. Sanctions have been placed on ships that transported military supplies to and from North Korea, as well as institutions and individuals that supported the activities of North Korean workers.

According to an announcement by the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs, two of the Russian vessels were prohibited from entering South Korea without permission because they were transporting military supplies to and from North Korea, in violation of United Nations Security Council resolutions. It is said to be prohibited.

In addition, two Russian agencies and two individuals representing each have provided the necessary documentation for North Korean IT personnel to work in Russia, and helped raise funds for North Korea's nuclear and missile development. Due to their involvement, restrictions will be imposed on financial transactions in South Korea.

South Korea has called on Russia to immediately halt military cooperation with North Korea, and the South Korean Ministry of Foreign Affairs has stated that ``military cooperation between the North and Russia is an act that seriously threatens the peace and stability of the Korean Peninsula and the entire world.'' We are also closely monitoring the possibility of threatening South Korea's national security, and will continue to consider additional measures as necessary."

Last month, Russia's top intelligence official visited North Korea, and it is being pointed out that President Putin himself may visit North Korea in the future. If Russia's military cooperation with North Korea advances, it will pose a major threat. The South Korean government appears to be nervous about Russia's moves.
