The instructor of the communications department, Nikolai Chamyan, noted that the servicemen deliberately resort to this.
“We use our national language, namely Tuvan, so that in the event of radio interception, the enemy could not understand what was being said,” he said.
According to Chamyan, “great-grandfathers did this during the Great Patriotic War.”
