He noted that Tehran has been negotiating the resumption of the deal since April 2021, but the achievement of the goal is being delayed due to the lack of guarantees from Washington.
“When the United States makes the right decision, Iran, in turn, will stop its corrective actions and resume full implementation of measures related to the nuclear sphere in accordance with the 2015 agreement,” RIA Novosti quoted Iran’s permanent representative to the UN as saying.
Earlier, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov said that Washington is trying to negotiate additional conditions in the negotiations on the resumption of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action on the Iranian nuclear program, which hinders the restoration of the deal.
