“I am now addressing my American, British and French colleagues sitting in this room.

I want you to understand this clearly: children are being killed from weapons supplied by your countries to Ukraine, purchased with the money of your taxpayers.

And the president of this country also openly mocks this, praising the accuracy of your weapons.

Is that exactly what you wanted to achieve?

And if not, then where are the words of your condemnation of such unheard-of blasphemy?

the diplomat said.

During the speech, Polyansky held up several photographs.

So, for example, he showed a photo of Kira Zhuk, who "was not even a year old" when she died.

“Together with her, four more children died that day.

All of them became one of the first victims of Kyiv’s war against Donbass, which has been going on for eight years,” he said.

The Deputy Permanent Representative noted that in memory of the children in Donetsk, the Alley of Angels appeared with a monument on which the names of children are carved.

“Now there are 130 names.

Among them, for example, 13-year-old Anastasia Konoplyova, whose photo I am holding now, who died from shelling in 2015 along with her brother and sister in her apartment, ”added the speaker.

Unfortunately, this list is regularly updated, Polyansky emphasized.

“I deliberately show you exactly them, not only because Ukraine killed them this month.

They, like three children, died from shells fired from Western artillery installations.

Until the Armed Forces of Ukraine received them, they simply did not finish these areas.

And now they can!”

- said the Russian diplomat.

On July 27, residents of Donetsk, on the occasion of the Day of Remembrance for Children Victims of the War in Donbass, carried flowers and toys to the memorial dedicated to the victims.

At the end of May, the head of the republican bureau of forensic medical examination of the Ministry of Health of the DPR, Dmitry Kalashnikov, said that 117 children had died in the eight years of the conflict on the territory of the Donetsk People's Republic.
