A man in his forties died on Friday morning, knocked down by a heavy weight, while he was on foot on the A9 motorway, in Hérault.

This accident took place at dawn, at Poussan, near Sète, said the Departmental Fire and Rescue Service (SDIS).

The 40-year-old was dead when firefighters arrived at the scene.

Nothing is known, for the moment, of the circumstances of this accident.
