According to him, "this will not contribute to peace, but will only lead to an escalation of the conflict and exacerbate the humanitarian catastrophe."

Earlier, Russian Defense Minister Sergei Shoigu during the collegium of the military department announced the intention of the West to provoke Kyiv "to fight to the last Ukrainian."

As it became known, the United States will transfer to Ukraine 200 M113 armored personnel carriers, 11 Mi-17 helicopters, 18 howitzers, 300 Switchblade loitering ammunition and 500 Javelin missiles.

At the same time, the United States will train the Armed Forces of Ukraine to handle American howitzers outside of Ukraine.
