Kim Yeo-jung, deputy director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, spoke again after two days, criticizing Defense Minister Seo-wook's 'preemptive strike' remarks again, but stating, "We do not view South Korea as an opponent of armed force."

Deputy Director Kim said in a discourse released through the Korean Central News Agency, "We will not fire a single bullet at south Korea."

"This is not a view that is viewed as a comparison of military power with a purely nuclear-weapon country, but because we are the same people who should not fight each other," he explained.

However, regarding Minister Seo's 'preemptive strike' remark, he said, "It is a very dangerous and bad idea for the South Korean military to call us an enemy and to preemptively strike us under certain conditions." I took issue with it again.

"If there comes a situation where South Korea chooses a military confrontation with us, our nuclear warfare force will inevitably have to carry out its mission," he said.
