At a meeting of the UN Security Council on the situation in Ukraine, the United States showed a willingness to take action on the Russian side regarding the ceasefire negotiations between Russia and Ukraine, while Russia did not mention the negotiations.

On the 29th, the UN Security Council held a meeting on the humanitarian situation in Ukraine, where Russia invaded the military, and countries mentioned the ceasefire negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in Istanbul, Turkey.

Among them, the United States, in attendance by Deputy Secretary of State Sherman, said, "The focus is not on what Russia says, but on what it does."

"The only way to end this humanitarian catastrophe is with the complete withdrawal of Russian troops," he stressed.

Ukraine's UN Ambassador to the United Nations, Sergiy Kyslyza, said, "There is still a long way to go before a sustainable ceasefire and comprehensive relaxation of tensions," calling on countries to continue their support for Ukraine and sanctions on Russia.

On the other hand, Russia's UN Ambassador to the United Nations, Nevenja, has repeatedly argued that he is considering the local humanitarian situation, but did not mention the ceasefire negotiations.
