Leaders of the European Union (EU) countries meeting this Thursday gave the green light to the opening of accession negotiations with Bosnia-Herzegovina. They also called for an “immediate humanitarian pause ” in the Gaza Strip.

European leaders also want to support European rearmament against Russia. The Twenty-Seven also decided to move forward with a plan to use profits from Russia's frozen assets in the EU to arm Ukraine. The leaders of EU member countries said they wanted to “  move forward work on a proposal presented Wednesday by the European Commission.
