“We have received from employees of Ukrainian biological laboratories documentation on the emergency destruction of especially dangerous pathogens of plague, anthrax, tularemia, cholera and other deadly diseases on February 24,” he said.
Konashenkov added that the data obtained are being analyzed by Russian specialists from the RCBZ troops.
“The documents received confirm that the development of biological weapons components was carried out in Ukrainian biolaboratories, in close proximity to the territory of Russia,” a spokesman for the Russian Defense Ministry said.
Earlier, Yuri Averyanov, First Deputy Secretary of the Russian Security Council, said that the United States was developing individual biological research plans for many countries, primarily of a military nature.
