The power of the people is once again engulfed in infighting. Earlier this month, 18 days after internal conflicts were closed with a dinner in Ulsan, CEO Jun-seok Lee announced that he would step down from all positions in the Election Countermeasures Committee. Jo Su-jin, who was the trigger of this catastrophe after a strong clash with Lee, also resigned afterward.

At an emergency press conference yesterday (21st), Lee Jun-seok, representative of the People's Power, announced that he would step down from both the positions of the co-standing election committee chairman and the head of the PR and media division.

However, he said he would play his role as the party representative in the election.

At the undisclosed party meeting two days ago, Cho Su-jin, head of the public affairs committee for the election, said, "I only follow the directions of the candidates," and clashed head-on with Chairman Lee.

Regarding internal conflicts within the election committee, presidential candidate Yoon Seok-yeol said, "Kim Jong-in, general election chairman, decided to solve the problem."

Chairman Kim said that he appeared on the radio and told Lee that he should not improvise.

Regarding Director Cho, he said, "A person like that has no choice but to take bold measures," but immediately resigned from the positions of vice chairman of the National Election Commission and public affairs chief.

"Chief Joe"He said, "I sincerely apologize to the people and party members, and I will do my best to change the government."

However, Rep. Jang Je-won, who is considered to be a close aide to Candidate Yoon, scolded and criticized the two, saying, "The party president and the public affairs director are having a brawl." The spark of conflict between the representatives still lingers.

Chairman Kim expressed his intention to overhaul the predecessor system by saying that he would also take drastic personnel measures, but the chaotic situation is likely to continue for the time being as Chairman Lee reaffirmed his intention to step down from his position.
