“The location of a woman born in 1981 has been established on the territory of the Republic of Karelia.
The woman, being a resident of the regional center, met the child on the street of the city on October 16, 2021, ”the Investigative Committee said.
They added that, according to the investigators, having gained confidence, the suspect brought the girl to her apartment in Dolgiy Lane, where she murdered the child.
After that, she fled the scene, leaving the region.
The body of a child with signs of violent death was found in the evening during a search in the home of the intruder.
The suspect is delivered to the investigative bodies of the Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee in the Vologda Oblast.
Earlier in Vologda, the body of a nine-year-old girl was found, the search for which began after the report of her disappearance on October 16.
