Earlier, US Deputy Secretary of State for Political Affairs Victoria Nuland said that negotiations with the Deputy Chief of Staff of the Russian President Dmitry Kozak on the Minsk Agreements were productive.
"Reconfirmation of the United States on its part ... this, I hope, the signal heard in Kiev from their direct curator Victoria Nuland, I think that it is relevant at the moment," RIA Novosti quoted Zakharova as saying on the Zvezda TV channel.
The diplomat noted that two years ago, the Kiev authorities unofficially began to promote ideas about “the allegedly irrelevance of the Minsk agreements, allegedly their unrealizability” due to changes in historical circumstances.
Also, the Kiev authorities announced plans for the need to develop new agreements.
“In the last year, we see this as the official position of Kiev and the entire Ukrainian leadership,” Zakharova summed up.
