Blinken also supports the presidential and parliamentary elections in Libya on December 24 and calls on the Libyan leadership to ensure a fair and free vote.

In June, Blinken in talks with Italian President Sergio Mattarella discussed China, Libya, as well as the fight against the pandemic and the problem of climate change.
