It says that Blinken "took part in a ministerial meeting on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, organized by France, Germany and Italy."
“Blinken reaffirmed US support for Libya,“ free from foreign interference, ”State Department spokesman Ned Price said in a statement.
Blinken also supports the presidential and parliamentary elections in Libya on December 24 and calls on the Libyan leadership to ensure a fair and free vote.
In June, Blinken in talks with Italian President Sergio Mattarella discussed China, Libya, as well as the fight against the pandemic and the problem of climate change.
