Voting continues in Russia's elections, and the ruling party is subjected to a cyber attack. President Vladimir Putin is most likely to win a fifth term in 6 years.

Presidential elections are also being held for the first time in the Ukrainian regions that Russia recently annexed to its sovereignty. The Secretary-General of the United Nations, António Guterres, along with dozens of member states of the organization, condemned the holding of presidential elections in Ukrainian regions under Russian control. The voting process takes place in more than 94,000 ballot boxes across the country.
