"In the period from 7 to 9 September in the Kyrgyz Republic at the Edelweiss training ground, joint exercises with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian region of collective security of the CSTO Rubezh-2021 will take place," the headquarters reported to TASS.
The exercises will be attended by military contingents and operational groups of Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan, the Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat, the formation of special forces and means of internal affairs bodies (police), bodies authorized in the field of prevention of emergency response, and the State Committee national security of Kyrgyzstan.
Earlier it was reported that the Russian military conducted exercises using tanks in the mountains of Tajikistan.
