[HIGHLIGHTS] The CSTO began strategic command and staff training on the situation in Central Asia

The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is conducting strategic command and staff training from March 12 to 13. Issues of stabilizing the situation in the Central Asian collective security region are being worked out in the face of a growing threat of a crisis situation.

One of the goals of the training is to clarify the algorithm for collective anti-crisis actions and assess their effectiveness, CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov said. The training is being conducted under the leadership of the Chief of the Joint Staff.
