The Foreign Minister of the United Kingdom announced this on Twitter.

He noted that the priority of the two countries is to ensure the safety of the citizens of Great Britain and the United States, as well as those who helped the work of the missions in Afghanistan.

“We also discussed the need to coordinate international efforts to prevent Afghanistan from becoming a base for terrorist groups,” Raab added.

Earlier, Raab said that the British authorities reserve the opportunity to impose sanctions against militants of the radical Taliban * movement, which has established control over the Afghan capital of Kabul.
