US President Joe Biden was briefed this morning by his National Security Advisers, including Secretary of Defense and Chief of Joint Staff Mark Milley, of the security situation at Kabul Hamid Karzai International Airport and efforts to course to safely evacuate Americans, US Embassy personnel, local staff, visa applicants and their families, and vulnerable Afghans, the White House said.
