The Deputy Head of the State Department will lead the US delegation in negotiations with Russia

"Under Secretary of State Wendy Sherman will travel to Geneva to lead the US delegation to the bilateral dialogue on strategic stability between the United States and Russia on July 28, 2021," the State Department website said in a statement.

Bonnie Jenkins, Deputy Secretary of State for Arms Control and International Security, will also take part in the talks.

Earlier, Russian Ambassador to Washington Anatoly Antonov spoke about the publication of a joint statement by the United States and Germany on supporting Ukraine and ensuring European energy security.
