May 24, 2021 Aldo Forbice died this morning in Rome.

Journalist, essayist, writer, with a very long career in Rai, ended as the historical presenter of Zapping on Radio Uno, Forbice was born in Catania in 1940: arrived very young at Avanti in Milan, he joined Rai at the end of the 1960s. In 1970 he is at the helm of "Turno C" the first broadcast in Italy dedicated to the world of work. 



He then moved on to Tg1 as coordinator of the regional offices, at the end of the 1980s he was deputy director of the G3.



In 1994, Zapping was born, the daily radio broadcast of the Giornale Radio Uno which Forbice will conduct for 18 years.



Intellectual, deeply secular, often against the tide, Forbice has been involved for many years in the union, in the UIL. Labor historian, biographer of Bruno Buozzi, author of numerous essays, a passion for art and a strong commitment to human rights, Forbice had just published his latest essay. He leaves behind his wife and two daughters.
