When she published some news about Palestine and translated it into English, the young Palestinian woman, Dana, who lives in the United States and works in a private company, did not expect to find solidarity with her who spoke other languages to support her cause.

Dana does not consider herself an activist on social networking pages, and she is not an inimitable follow-up of the political situation in general, but she told Al-Jazeera Net that she could not sleep from the horror of what she saw from the pictures arriving from occupied Palestine, so that her interest in this news caught the attention of her colleagues at work, and she began She explains to them what she knows to support her case, before things develop to translate the information she gets into 27 languages, with the support of volunteers after she publishes some information on her personal page on Twitter.

Solidarity content

Dana follows up on some of the activists on social media pages, who host people specializing in Palestinian affairs and takes from them what could define her case, and when she began publishing, she was surprised that people interacted with what she published, and volunteers began communicating with her to translate what she writes or transmits from news and videos into languages Different areas for targeting non-Arabic or English speakers and introducing them to Palestine and what is happening in it.

Al-Jazeera Net contacted the Palestinian youth Saji Musleh, who lives in Munich, Germany, who said that he feels that social communication is almost the only way to introduce Palestinian issues and interact with them around the world.

This is because the interaction this time was different, due to the reliable information published on the communication pages.

In our question to him about the content he publishes, Musleh said that there are Palestinian groups on the communication pages from which he obtains documented news, and then it is presented in different languages and designs until it reaches non-Arabs, who are surprised that they do not have enough information on the Palestinian issue.

Because of what he called the official media dealt with them naively.

Public opinion compressor

Mosleh considers that the aim of introducing non-Arabs to the Palestinian issue is to expose the Israeli occupation actions against the Palestinians around the world, and thanks to social communication, the picture has changed as a result of these activities, especially since the interaction with the information presented was great and unexpected, and it draws attention to what the occupation is doing to the Palestinians For more than 70 years, messages of sympathy and surprise were received from these foreigners;

They do not know this information about a people persecuted for decades, and it opens the way for further and deeper inquiries and questions.

Mosleh believes that the pages of celebrities on social media platforms may be pursued or that they have certain relationships and cannot speak freely about all the details;

Therefore, it was necessary to have an alternative, namely the general public, who translate and address their friends and knowledge in their own language, so that this interaction and solidarity could expand around the world and constitute pressure on governments and public opinion.

Change reality

As for the young Tunisian Majida Speck, who lives in the German capital Berlin, she believes that the idea of using social media has changed the reality in Tunisia through the revolution in her country in 2011, and that these pages are the only way for Arab youth to express themselves, especially in Europe, and bring solidarity from Non-Arabs with the Palestinian cause.

In her interview with Al-Jazeera Net, Speck considered what she is doing is a personal duty, and she is ready to continue publishing and translating information, because what she is doing has met with great interaction, especially with the publication of historical information about what is happening in Palestine, and the reactions were that many non-Arabs apologize for Their ignorance of such a big issue, and they apologize that their official media was misleading them, and this is evident through their interaction with the calls for demonstrations in support of Palestine in Europe after knowing what is really happening.

The countless accounts and Arab people and even foreigners who interacted with the Palestinian issues, and began to personally search for any information, news or video, to try to support the Palestinian people in their struggle against the occupation, even if the matter was simple solidarity or the translation of a specific news or design on the pages of Communication, perhaps it will reach the peoples of the whole world who are singing about human rights and freedom, and most of them praise their history of struggle against their occupiers, their enemies or those who persecuted them, considering that what they are doing is the weakest faith in support of Palestine and its people.
