To that, Al-Hashemi revealed that the Dubai Police has introduced the specialty of tissue examination at the Forensic Medicine Department, to be the only department at the state level that applies this rare specialty, pointing out that it has resolved more than 18 cases since its application in February of last year.

Al-Hashemi stated that as soon as this important specialty was added, a death occurred in the penal institutions, and the cameras detected two inmates quarreling, and suddenly one of them fell dead without showing traces on him, and his colleague denied his involvement in his murder, explaining that he was surprised by him screaming and asking to go to the hospital, then clashed with him, And he fell while his colleague was trying to check the reasons for his behavior in this way.

He pointed out that the heart examination did not prove anything at the beginning, so a tissue examination was used, which revealed that he had suffered a heart attack and died of immediately succumbing to it, which contributed to clearing his colleague's responsibility from the incident.

He stressed that the examination of tissues is one of the subspecialties in forensic science, and it has contributed to the development of the level of management until it has become the best international forensic centers, pointing out that the Forensic Medicine Department has not registered a single unknown case over the past three years.
